Our Commitment to Child Safety 
Every person in the sports community has a responsibility to understand their role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people in our care. 
Melton Junior Football Netball Club is committed to promoting and protecting the rights of children and preventing abuse from occurring by fostering a culture where children feel safe and empowered. 
We also seek to ensure the cultural safety of First Nations children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds and children with a disability.

Volunteers Screening 
From January 2024, all coaches, team managers, committee members and selected adult volunteers are required to have the following:

If there is concern for the immediate safety of a child or young person, immediately call the Police ‘000’.
